PowerDash 2X – Athlete Timing System

The PowerDash 2X timing system is designed and manufactured in the U.S.A.  The timing system is:

• Accurate and repeatable timing with accuracy of ±0.001 seconds.
• Simple setup: plug it in; align the sensor until green light is on; start timing.
• Durable with over a decade of field-proven use.

The PowerDash 2X comes complete and includes:

• One (1) ground-start gate for 3-point stance
• Two (2) elevated gates and reflectors
• Battery, cable and all required connections for tests noted below.

The system is shipped complete to provide fully-automated timing for all of the drills noted in test table, including:

• 40 yard dash with 10 yard split
• ProAgility
• L-Drill
• Speed tests

In addition, the system can be used for many user-derived tests and applications.

This is how the system works:

• After the reset button is pushed, the timing system starts automatically after either:
  • The start gate becomes blocked (e.g., a running start)
  • The start gate becomes un-blocked (e.g., typical 3-point football 40 start)
• Up to 99 split times are recorded when the athlete passes through any of the gates.
• The PowerDash displays the following:
  • Total test time
  • Time of last split
  • Difference of the last two splits. Example: the time for the left half of the ProAgility and the time for the right half of the ProAgility.
